Where to verify or renew CPR and Basic Life Support certification.

VitaLink does not issue CPR or BLS certification and does not set certification requirements. Requirements are set by the certifying body and the facility.

What VitaLink asks for

  • A current CPR or BLS card, uploaded as part of your credential file.
  • The issuing organization and the expiration date.

Where to find a course

  • American Heart Association: https://cpr.heart.org
  • American Red Cross: https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class
  • Confirm with your recruiter which issuing organizations your assignment accepts.

Renewal reminders

  • Track your expiration date and start renewal at least 30 days ahead.
  • Upload the new card as soon as you receive it so your file stays current.
